Simply, a family is a group consisting of two parents (Husband and wife) and their children living together as a unit of household or more. We could also refer to it as a descendant of a common ancestor.

How to balance my relationship with my extended family. First of all, understand that you are now building your home family (immediate family). You are no longer under the direct control of your parents, but for the fact that they are your parents, (they are not going to get away from you) they own you to their heart.
